E3 2010: Xbox 360 add-on's launch library boasts 15 titles, including EA's workout sim, Harmonix's exclusive rhythm title, Ubisoft's Your Shape.

LOS ANGELES--Microsoft revealed an Xbox 360 redesign and solidified a Kinect release date this morning at its press briefing, but the news didn't stop there. On top of those information drops, Microsoft announced Kinect's software launch catalog includes 15 titles from big-name studios Harmonix, Electronic Arts, and LucasArts.

At the event, Harmonix CEO Alex Rigopulos took the stage and revealed Dance Central for Kinect. The game is promised to include more than 600 moves, 90 routines, and post-launch downloadable content. Dance Central will include a "wide range" of hip-hop, rap, and R&B and is set to arrive this holiday. Gwen Stefani's "Hella Good," and "Poison" from Bell Biv Devoe were two of the songs used to display the dancing game at the briefing.

Also hitting Kinect this November will be EA Sports Active 2. From Electronic Arts, the fitness simulator includes a heart rate monitor, wireless functionality, and an online hub for tracking digital conditioning data. Additionally, using Kinect's technology, users will be able to navigate onscreen menus via voice and gesture recognition.

Other Kinect titles announced during the company's event included a Star Wars title, Kinectanimals, Kinect Sports, Kinect Adventures, Kinect Joy Ride, Your Shape Fitness Evolved, a Sonic title, Biggest Loser, and others.

The subject of a trademark dispute, Active 2 has also been confirmed for release on November 16 for the PlayStation 3, Wii, iPhone, and iPod Touch. To stay current with the happenings of E3, check out GameSpot's complete coverage of E3 2010.
